MARQUEE RIGGER

Join our team as a marquee rigger. We have several space available to join our team of marquee riggers who travel across Suffolk, Norfolk and Essex erecting marquees for all types of events such as weddings, parties, corporate events, festivals etc. A perfect opportunity to work in an outside environment as part of a crew of between 4-10 during the summer months.

Every day tasks will include building and dismantling marquees, loading and unloading of equipment onto transport, cleaning and maintenance of equipment. No previous experience in the industry required. All training provided where necessary. Working under supervision of site foreman.

Initial 6 month ‘zero hours’ contract on offer with extension for another 6-8 weeks if we have the work available. Shorter contracts will also be considered.

Normal working hours are between  7.30am – 4.30pm however these are flexible and you may be asked to work longer hours if it is necessary. Overtime paid for weekends and bank holidays. 

Applicants should be physically fit and ready to under take 8-10 days of physical work. A clean driving license preferred and a BE, C1E or CE license would also be of benefit.

Hourly pay dependant on age and experience but will be approx. £10 p/hour
